Shipping and Packaging
At Zight, we understand that shipping of fragile material, such as glass, is delicate and must be given the importance it deservses.
This is why we have developed unique methods for packaging which can guarantee that the material arrived to the customer with no damage.
Depending on the product type, we have different packaging methods,
Packaging and shipping of tubes
For the glass tube, we have devolped a unique system which consists of two components, the outter box made of plywood and the inner protection made of polyurethane foam. This systems allows us to provide a standarized and affordable solution for the customers, without sacrificing the breaking probability.
The outter plywood box is cut-to-lenght and has the capacity of holding up to 6 tubes.
The inned foam, which is specially designed and petented, holds up to six tubes and prvents the tubes from moving inside, which guarantees that they will not break during transport.
This is the main reason why we are able to offer disccounts based on volume, as the cost of packaging and shipping 1 tube or 6 tubes is very similar.
Packaging and shipping of circular sight glasses
Circular sight glasses are packaged in their own personal carton box. In order to prevent breackage, the glass in packaged with a thin layer of polyurethane foam, which served as a shock absorver,
