Manufactured in 3.3 Borosilicate Glass, these level gauge glass tubes are used in several applications where a good chemical resistance and low thermal expansion coefficient are required. Outside diameters range from 1/2" to 1-1/2", with tube lengths from 1" to 144". Ends are cut with diamond equipment to assure sealing and avoid sharp edges.
ZIGHT BOROSILICATE TUBES are available in different wall thicknesses according to customer specifications, in both Red Line and Transparent. The Red Line tube uses a special treatment (two white lines and one red line) that magnifies fluid level for quick, distant inspection. Need additional assistance? Contact us.

It is commonly used to monitor liquid levels in tanks, boilers, and pressure vessels. High resistance to thermal shock and chemical corrosion makes it ideal where durability and reliability are crucial.
Yes. Maximum pressure resistance depends on outside diameter, wall thickness, and tube length. Contact a Zight representative to match glass to your application.
Use appropriate gaskets and hardware to prevent uneven stress. Secure firmly without over-tightening. Refer to Zight installation guidance for your valve and gauge configuration.
Borosilicate resists most acids, alkalis, and solvents. It is not suitable for hydrofluoric acid (HF), which attacks the silica structure of the glass.
